Welcome to Pallikoodam Malayalam Community Language School
At Pallikoodam, we are dedicated to nurturing a love for the Malayalam language and Kerala’s vibrant culture in children of Australian Malayalee families. Established in 2018, our school is affiliated with the Department of Education and a proud member of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools.
We believe that language is more than just words—it’s the key to understanding heritage, building connections, and creating a sense of belonging. Our courses are designed to make learning Malayalam an enjoyable and enriching experience for children of all ages, from kindergarten to young adults.

Our Journey
Since our inception, Pallikoodam has blossomed into a vibrant community with over 50 students, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the Malayalam language and Kerala culture. Our journey reflects innovation and resilience, from adapting to virtual classrooms during the pandemic to successfully launching our first Level 1 Malayalam textbook. Each milestone has strengthened our commitment to providing enriching educational experiences and fostering a strong cultural connection among our students. Today, Pallikoodam stands as a testament to the power of community and perseverance, continually evolving to meet the needs of our learners while preserving the heritage we hold dear.
